我們半夜一點到的，前台在酒店門口抽煙，然後給了我們一個錯誤的房型，我們又不得不重新換房間，且是一個在所有人必經之路的樓梯口的房間。新換的房間隔音差，設施特別特別特別的舊，被芯也疙疙瘩瘩的像那種老式的棉花被，裝修風格甚至有些令人害怕。最可怕的是衞生間衹有浴缸沒有淋浴，我們衹好蹲在浴缸裡舉著花灑洗澡，而且水壓特別的小。 唯一值得慶幸的是，酒店外面的風景不錯，有很大一片草地和花園可以散步。但即便如此，我也不會推薦別人入住這家酒店

Heating didn’t work in the room and was freezing then tried to shower in the morning and the water was freezing. Both times I tried to shower there was no water.

房間非常大間 好有貴族的風格 但是沒有暖氣 所以好凍 可能屋是有歷史價值的 所以保養費應該都好多錢 祗可以就是一般的打理房間 但花園好大 玫瑰花好靚

18th century listed building set in the charming village Brimington, in Chesterfield. Wonderful staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, looked after and as if you’re the only guests they have at their lovely hotel. Service with a smile! Thank you team for a great stay and turn that music up for the guests on arrival!

We stayed for 1 night for a special occasion. On arrival we were told that the spa was closed for an event which was very disappointing as I booked this hotel because of the spa & had planned to use the pool & sauna. This should gave been communicated at the time of booking. The building and grounds were impressive but on arrival our featured superior room was freezing cold. The reception turned on the heating at our request but this should have been done hours before our arrival given that it was 8 degrees outside. We sat for an hour in the room with our coats on before asking for a portable heater due to the radiators being only lukewarm. The room never really got warm & when we came back from dinner at 9.15 the heating had been turned off again & we had to ask for it to be turned on again. The food in the restaurant was very good & the servers were lovely but unorganised. We planned to have a drink in the hotel bar but it was so cold that it was empty and not comfortable to stay. I heard kore than one staff member complain about the cold in the hotel. What could have been a very pleasant stay was spoiled by the cold. Unfortunately, we will not return.

The staff are the most accommodating people you could ask for. They look after you and go above and beyond  with their customer service. Friendly, warm and cosy rooms, 18th century listed building. Retro chic and service with a smile.  Fabulous!!!
